Runcorn Quiz 20 – The answers

Hello again people and pooches. Joe the Cocker here. Our twentieth Runcorn Quiz showed an increase in interest and we hope that you enjoyed it. The answers are as follows:

1 A sandstone outcrop in Rock Park below Sewell Street.

2 This is a gateway to Rock Park from Malcolm Street

3 The building in the photograph has had a few names, Elim Chapel and Mill Brow Ragged School in Victoria Road

4 The section of wall is on the left when heading into town from Delph Bridge by the Bridgewater Canal in Bridge Street

5 The Natwest Bank building in High Street

6 Camden Buildings in High Street

7 The number 10 can be seen on the side wall of The Ferry Boat Inn

8 The footpath leads from the Old Police Station to Pool Lane. it is St. John’s Brow

9 This used to be a doorway to the old Market Hall which nowadays is the Swimming Baths in Trinity Street

10 Co-operative Terrace is in Halton Road close to Delph Bridge.
