Llangollen Quiz 2 – the answers

1. The Old Bank in Berwyn Street. A Grade ll listed building was originally built in 1855 to house the Richards & Co. bank. NatWest bank occupied the building until 1976, and it is now used by local businesses.

2. Rehoboth Calvinistic Methodist Chapel in Victoria Square is another Grade II Listed Building. Built in 1835/6.

3. The Llangollen Silver Band building in Parade Street.

4. The former Llangollen Infant School in East Street.

5. The Police Station in Parade Street. A Grade ll listed building built in 1867.

6. The Welfare House from 1928 in Market Street.

7. St. Collen’s Church. The first church on this site dates from 6th century. A Grade l listed building dating from 13th century.

8. Formerly The Lion Inn in Bridge Street. Now houses Gales Wine Bar.

9. The Hand Hotel in Church Street

10. 18 Church Street. Built in the early 17th century.
